Naturalisation is the process of becoming a citizen of another country. Applying for British Naturalisation in the UK will mean you can live and work anywhere in the UK free from immigration rules. 

If you are a foreign or EEA national who has resided in the UK for five years or more and you have held indefinite leave to remain or permanent residency for a minimum of one year then you can apply for naturalisation as a British citizen. You can also apply if you are married to a British Citizen, provided you have lived for a minimum of three years in the UK and hold Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR).
